One warning before the table: several comparison sites still crown Turkey the cheap country for Speak at around $3 a month. That figure is stale or divided across a yearly plan. Our own Turkish App Store check the same week put Plus at ₺599.99 = $12.52 — cheap, yes, but nowhere near #1 anymore.

The quiet story in this table is Europe. Ireland, the Netherlands, and Greece all pay €24.99 — about $29.00, roughly 61% more than Americans. Sweden ($31.43) and Hungary ($31.80) are the worst we verified. Speak prices Western Europe as premium markets while treating Southeast Asia, West Africa, and Eastern Europe as volume markets. Can I use a VPN to get cheaper Speak?
A VPN changes what the app shows you. It does not change what bills you. Speak has no web checkout — the company itself says accurate pricing lives in the app — so the price you get is set by your Apple ID (or Google account) country and the payment method attached to it. A Philippine IP with a German credit card still lands you near the German-equivalent price, or gets the charge refused outright.

Will my account get banned?
Nobody reports Speak hunting region-hoppers the way streaming services do, but absence of enforcement stories is not a policy guarantee. Region-switching sits outside most terms of service, and the downside is losing your streak, your progress, and your history on an account you built over months.
