Why does the App Store show so many different Impulse prices?

Impulse sells the same Pro access through many purchase options — weekly, monthly, six-month, and yearly, each with its own discount offer. A $6.99 listing and a $49.99 listing on one page are different billing periods, not different apps.

What happens after the Impulse free trial ends?

The 3-day trial rolls into the paid plan you picked during signup, and Apple charges your default payment method automatically. Cancel in your iPhone Settings at least a day before the trial ends if you do not want the charge.

Is tax included in the Impulse price I see?

It depends on your storefront. In the US, sales tax is usually added at checkout and varies by state. In the UK, EU, and other VAT countries, the listed price normally includes tax.

Does Impulse work on Android?

Impulse is built for iPhone and iPad first. We have not verified a Google Play price for it, so any Android figure you see elsewhere is unconfirmed.

Can I share an Impulse subscription with my family?

We have not checked a dated Impulse Pro price yet. The country table is empty. Impulse Pro is a brain-training IAP. Not Lumosity. Not Elevate. Weekly Pro is likely. We will not paste a USD sticker onto 42 countries.

Straight answer: we cannot crown a winner yet, because our verified Impulse country table is still empty — every cell needs a real checkout with the local amount, currency, URL, and date. But a storefront snapshot we took in August 2026 points one way: the Turkish App Store lists Impulse Pro at ₺62.99 per week, while the US storefront charges $9.99 per week for the same plan. At the August 29, 2026 exchange rate (about 48 lira to the dollar), that Turkish listing works out to roughly $1.31 a week — a fraction of the US figure. India lists it at ₹849/week (about $8.87) and Canada at CA$13.49/week (about $9.82), both barely below the US price.

That is a listing snapshot, not a verified purchase. The live table at Impulse prices by country stays empty until we complete a checkout in each country and record exactly what was charged.

Two caveats matter. First, Apple storefront listings change often and can include special offers — the Turkish page also showed a “7 days, 30% off” option at ₺47.99, so the regular price may differ from what renews. Second, a listing is what Apple’s page claims; a verified row means we paid and recorded the receipt. When those verified rows exist, this page will name the winner the same way our other country guides do.

Will a VPN alone get you a cheaper Impulse price?

Probably not, and here is the mechanic. Impulse bills through Apple’s in-app purchase system, and Apple decides pricing by your App Store account’s country — the storefront your Apple ID is signed into, not your IP address. A VPN can change which marketing page loads, but your App Store account country and payment method decide the actual charge.

Changing your Apple ID country means updating the account’s region and having a payment method for that region (or store credit from local gift cards). That is a bigger step than flipping a VPN on, and hopping regions repeatedly can put your Apple account at odds with Apple’s terms. One more thing worth knowing: Impulse’s App Store page shows a long menu of “Premium Access” prices — $6.99, $7.99, $15.99, $28.99, $39.99, $49.99 on the US listing. Those are different billing periods and limited offers, not different products. Pro is the plan we track; anything else is a different invoice.

How do I actually pay for Impulse in another country?

Since billing runs through Apple, the realistic paths are:

Apple ID region change. Move your Apple account to the target country and add a local payment method or gift-card credit. Works, but affects your whole account — apps, subscriptions, and purchases.
A second Apple ID for the other storefront. Many people keep a separate account for foreign App Stores. Cleaner, but you buy and use the app under that login.
Gift cards. Apple gift cards for the target storefront can fund the account where local cards fail. Note that on other services we track, gift-card routes have failed verification more often than they worked — do not assume it works here.

Do not buy a gray-market login from a stranger. You are handing a shared account your payment details and hoping it survives.
