A few observations worth more than the raw numbers:

Only eight verified countries beat the US. Out of 41 we checked, most of the world pays more than Americans do - not less. The bargain-bin reputation of ChatGPT subscriptions is out of date almost everywhere.
The Philippines wins by a modest 19%. This is not a “pay $2 instead of $20” situation. It is a genuine discount, but you should weigh it against the hassle of setting up a foreign App Store account (more on that below).
At the other end: Hungary pays the equivalent of $28.62, the UK about $27.10, and the eurozone roughly $26.68 for the identical product. If you live there, the regional-pricing game is rigged against you, not for you.
